The cameron highlands is one of Malaysia's most extensive hill stations. The size o f Singapore, it occupies an area of 712 square kilometres in the Titiwangsa mountains.Developed in the 1930s, the tableland is one of the oldest tourist spots in malaysia.The only way to go to cameron highlands is by road.Like the other hill stations in malaysia. cameron highlands is crowded with flowers and flora not only these flowers but many of rare animals and birds can be seen in this place, this place is shelter of birds and  animals if the person is lover of animals he will visit this place again and again .Cameron is unique when campared to other hill sataions in malaysia as it drained by eight rivers. The Cameron Highlands is one of the few places in Malaysia
that is blessed with a tropical highland climate. The mean annual temperature is about 18.c.There are more than 700 species of plants the grow here.During the colonial era, the "camerons" was a heaven for the home sick.At present, it is a stopover for those who wants to be escape from the heat of lowlands. Over the years, there have been many improvements at the province.Here are some landmarks that have withstood the test of time.

Maxwell Hill is also known as (Bukit Larut) situated from 9 km from Taiping. Maxwell Hill is a natural hill station.If u thinking of a quite honeymoon then this is the best place for you.Maxwell Hill is a affordable weekend romantic retreat. Maxwell Hill or Bukit Larut is one of the hidden and unknown gems to the trevelers who are looking for a retreat in hill resort. Located from approx.9 kms from Taiping Town in the northen state of perak, No other towns or hill stations in Malaysia can boast of a hill resort such close proximity and accessability as Maxwell Hill. Although Maxwell Hill is quite unknown as compared to more popular places like Cameron Highlands . It is Malaysia's smallest and oldest hill resort found in 1884.
        Taiping was a beautiful basin,surrounded by bush tropical jungle and lofty hills.In the early mornings and after a heavy downpour a white cushy blanket of mist hung over the canopy. This cool jungle air brought in by the morning breeze must have prompted Maxwell Hill to pick this hill as his choice as Shimla in India.The journey from foothill to the peak around 13 kilometers making it suitable for the purpose intended.Maxwell Hill stands 1035 meters above from sea level and it is only accesiable by two methods by the govt owned 4 wheels or by foot. Private vehicles without permission is prohibited from going up the hill. A return journey from Maxwell Hill is RM6 for adults and RM3 for children. Pre reservation is not available
