Fraser's Hill

Fraser's hill is a highland resort destination neslted among the mountains of pahang.This cooling holiday retreat is popular for its nature activities and cooling climate, attracting not just local escaping the city heat but from the tourists from singapour and other international locations.Fraser hill is 105km north  from Kulan lampur hardly 2 hours by car.Visitors can come throughout the year but expect heavy mist and rainfall most times.There are many five stars hotels are there to stay.Small amount of hawkers stalls and resturents supplies much of the food offering tradional coisines.The largest food place is food court along with the pine tree located left from the roundabout a Gap Road. This food garden offers an eclectic range of local food served from many hawker stalls. The town mosque has a local restaurant next door which has a pretty garden setting for outdoor dining while a small chinese restaurant occupies the rustic stone house at left shortly after the Gap exit. Finally scott's pub and restaurant provides some of the finest english food in the country.
Fraser's hill enjoys a well preserved landscape teeming with lush greenry with little commercial development.There are few tourist attractions and compared with cameron highlands.

There are three main activities to do in fraser's hill hiking, golf and birdwatching.

Bird watching
There are  more than  250 spices of birds found in fraser's hill especially in june when the international bird race event held due to many migrating spices passing through.

Hiking
There are eight signpost trails around fraser's hill although some have been closed at least temporarily after well publicized incident in 2005 when there are three young boys lost in jungle.watch out for leeches.

• Pine tee Trail

Golf
A short and very tight course. Open daily 7 A.M. to 8 P.M.Green fees RM 30/40 carry fee RM 10. Golf sets available for rent at the sports complex.

 Places to see

Clock Tower the central point of Fraser hill. This is the most papular place to get the picture taken. The clock tower was disgned by Malaysian landscape arctitect Z.Jaal and built by fraser hill development corporation in 1989.

Jeriau Waterfall is 5 km from the town centre and then a 15 mintues walk.Jeriau waterfall is much visited nature attraction at the foothill with river cascade that feeds into a largepool. The falls are 6 meter high and fall into a shallow pool suitable for bathing. This area is equipped with resturents and shelter for picnics.

Highlands Bukit Tinggi is hardly famous for tea, vegetables and fruits. On the contrary, it is well known for its French-styled Colmar Tropicale and Zen inspires Japanese Garden. The Colmar Tropicale retains the European-style architecture, decorated with cobblestone courtyard and streams of cafes and restaurants around the square, entertained by street performances and live bands, bringing you to a whole new European experience.On the contrary, some 1000 meters above sea level is the Zen inspired Japanese Village. The village consists of a Japanese Tea house, Ryo Zan Tei authentic Japanese Restaurant, botanical garden, spa and Tatami suites. One can experience the Japanese tea ritual at their teahouse and enjoy the hot bath at the spa for a relaxing getaway. Apart from that, golf enthusiast can enjoy the 18-hole golf course at Bukit Tinggi & Country Club for a challenging golf experience. Horse trail is also available to enjoy around the scenic surroundings. You can end your visit by visiting the Rabbit Park where you will be charm by the cuteness of the fluffy rabbits.
